We are so excited to announce our first Elf Scavenger Hunt - #MerryMacaroniElfHunt!
With 60+ businesses on board, and more signing up daily, this is shaping up to be an incredible way to connect Macaroni Kid families with local businesses. The #MerryMacaroniElfHunt will introduce your family to new shops, services and experiences in the community, many of which you may not have tried before. It's a wonderful opportunity to support local businesses while creating fun and memorable experiences during the holiday season.
For the kids, this will be a magical holiday adventure, combining their love for the classic tradition of finding the elf with the excitement of exploring different locations. It's a festive way to bring joy and holiday spirit to the whole family, while making lasting memories as they search for the hidden elves around town!
Our #MerryMacaroniElfHunt is easy for everyone to join. Families can have a blast searching for elves and to add to the excitement we have three supersized prize baskets you can enter for a chance to win, each packed with goodies from our amazing local businesses. It's the perfect way to enjoy the holiday season, support the community and maybe even take home a fantastic prize.
Be sure to check out the special promo offers listed under certain businesses just for Macaroni Kid families. Promos can only be used once, unless it states otherwise.

How it works:
1. Sign up to participate and receive our #MerryMacaroniElfHunt sheet now so you are ready to go when the hunt starts on 11/25.
2. Families have two ways to rack up entries for a chance to win one of our three supersized prize baskets.
- Visit participating businesses, find the Elf and snap a photo. Post the photo on either Instagram or Facebook and tag the business PLUS either Toms River or Point Pleasant Macaroni Kid and use hashtag #MerryMacaroniElfHunt.
- Make sure to follow our participating businesses that do not have a storefront on their Instagram or Facebook page and wait for them to post their Elf on their page! Share the post to your story, tagging the business and Mac Kid, along with our hashtag #MerryMacaroniElfHunt
3. If you are not on Facebook or Instagram, you can still participate - just email us your 10 photos to melissaw@macaronikid (all in one email) and you will receive one entry for every 10 photos you submit that meet the rules listed below.
4. #MerryMacaroniElfHunt runs from 11/25 - 12/24. All photos sent via email must be received by 12/26.
BONUS Entries
We have some chance for families to get some bonus entries. You must submit/post at least 10 "pics/posts" to be eligible for bonus entries.
- Follow the businesses you visit on IG or FB.
- Post a photo of purchase made or service received, tagging us and the business.
- Place an order with one of our participating businesses that does not have a storefront and post a photo. Extra Bonus if you tell us it's your first order with that business!
- Share our #MerryMacaroniElfHunt (article) to your Facebook feed once a week for up to 4 bonus entries! Make sure you tag us!
Rules:
1. Families can visit locations multiple times but can only use that location for three of their ten "pics/posts" per entry for grand prize.
2. Families can use up to three shared posts from businesses without a store front towards their ten "pics/posts" per entry for grand prize.
3. Families receive an entry for every 10 "pics/posts" and can submit/post unlimited entries as long as they meet the criteria listed above.
3. Macaroni Kid is not responsible for any posts we are not able to see because of privacy settings on your social media account. A good back up is to screenshot your photos and email them to us at the end of the promotion to guarantee your entries.
4. For businesses with multiple locations, only the location listed is participating.
5. Families must complete the entry form here to be eligible for Grand Prizes.
6. This event is run in collaboration with Macaroni Kid Toms River.
