With spring turning into summer in Ocean County, It's time to embrace the freshness of the season by eating local. From pick-your-own farms where you can create unforgettable memories (and great photos!) with your little ones to local farmers markets ... there are plenty of ways to eat fresh at the Jersey Shore!
We love supporting our local farmers and buying locally-grown produce and goods. Plus, it's fun for the whole family to visit a farmers market at the Jersey Shore
Here are three things to note before heading out to farmers markets:
- Bring your own containers or bags to avoid any extra charges!
- Bring cash as some farmer market stands don't take credit cards.
- Some farmer markets might have rules or requests in place due to COVID. Please check their websites or social media sites before heading out!
