Upcoming Local Events to Get Your Family Out of the House

As restrictions start to lighten, towns are trying to find safe ways for families to get out of their house and take advantage of the warming weather.  Here are a few things we have found going on locally.

Drive In Movies @ Veteran's Park - Residents of Berkeley Only  EDITED: THIS EVENT IS FULL

  • June 6th - Trolls.

Drive In Movies @ Windward Beach Park

The movies will be held at Windward Beach Park and will be subject to guidelines for car gatherings issued by the State. The movies will begin at dusk and the gates to the parking area will open approximately one-hour before sundown. Parking is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • June 5th- The Lion King
  • June 12th- Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker
  • June 19th- Frozen 2
  • June 26th- Jumanji: The Next Level
  • July 3rd- Toy Story 4

Drive In Movies @ Seaside Heights Hiering Ave Parking Lot

Fridays & Saturdays starting at dusk - free drive in movies.  You will need to obtain a ticket online for your car in advance to manage lot capacity. Details about obtaining tickets will be released in next few days.

  • June 5 - When Harry Met Sally (Date Night)
  • June 6 - Pets 2
  • June 12 - Sleepless in Seattle

Six Flags Safari - Jackson

  • Wild Safari Drive Thru Adventure opens May 30
  • Hours 9AM - 4PM, weather permitting
  • Tickets must be purchased online in advance. $17.99 per person (Safari Adventure included in Season Pass)
