The Amazing Max comes to the Grunin Center, April 4th

By Toms River Macaroni Kid January 9, 2020

The Jay & Linda Grunin Center for the Arts welcomes The Amazing Max!

About the Show

The Amazing Max is an interactive magic show with a mind of its own.  What’s truly amazing is not only what happens on stage but also what happens in the audience. The enchanted look that spreads across the faces of his young (and not-so-young) fans as magician Max Darwin works miracles is hands-down astounding. Operating from the principle that “every show is unique because every child brought to the stage is unique,” Max conjures a custom experience that young ones will carry with them long after the show ends.

Max Darwin has long been considered one of New York City’s top entertainers.  He earned the title “The Amazing Max” for his extraordinary skills as a magician and also for his ability to entertain audiences while keeping the little ones spellbound.  His Off Broadway solo show, The Amazing Max, has received rave reviews from The NY Times, Huffington Post, and PBS Kids.  Max can also be seen on TV including the the Emmy nominated show Brain Games (National Geographic), Sneaky Pete (Amazon), Blindspot (NBC), Black Box (ABC), and Game Farm (Nickelodeon).

The Amazing Max will be on the Main Stage Saturday, April 4th @ 1:00pm.  Tickets are $17 for Adults and $12 for a Child.  Tickets are available for purchase here.

Please note, it is the Grunin Center Policy for all Family Shows that all attendees, regardless of age, require a ticket.

This performance is sponsored by RWJBarnabas Health Community Medical Center.
