Ribbon Cutting at Chef It Up - Toms River

Mayor Kelaher Makes it Official

By Toms River Macaroni Kid November 8, 2018

Toms River Macaroni Kid would like to congratulate Sue Bernardo on the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for her new Chef It Up location on Fischer Boulevard in Toms River.  While they have been open and holding classes and birthday parties since September, this was the official ceremony with Mayor Thomas Kelaher on hand to do the honors.

The Chef It Up franchise began in 2003, created by Lisa Tirone. Chef It Up party places are completely nut free facilities and truly the best place to host your next fun-filled cooking party, event or attend some super cool cooking classes. Along with birthday parties, they also offer classes and walk-in activities. The Toms River location offers Mommy & Me style classes along with a Junior Chef Kid Cuisine Class for ages six to thirteen twice a month. Their monthly calendar can be found here. You can also follow them on Facebook for all the latest info on classes and events. The guests prepare and assemble the food in the main party room and have a blast.  They chop, mix, measure, roll, slice and dice and don't even realize they are learning. They have something for everyone age!

Want to check it out? Mark your calendar for their next walk-in event on Friday, November 16 where the kids can get into the ready for Thanksgiving with Turkey Cupcakes. It's just $5 per child. Can't make that one? It's ok - their calendar is full between now and the new year! Don't forget to tell the Toms River Macaroni Kid sent you!
