Toms River Macaroni Kid is excited to be sponsoring the Ocean County Mall's Back to School Bash! It will be held at the Ocean County Mall on Saturday, August 25th from 11AM-1PM in Center Court and it is finally HERE!
This event will feature a Back to School Fashion Show sponsored by Barbizon of Red Bank and include clothing from Charlotte Russe, Macys, Justice, Gymboree, JCPenney and shoes from Journeys. We are excited to have a few of our very own Macaroni Kids walking during the show. Toms River Macaroni Kid will also have local dance, art, music, karate and academic tutoring programs there, along with preschools for parents looking to sign their kids up for fall activities. Local organizations such as Girl Scouts, the Ocean County Park, the Ocean County Council for Young Children and Ocean County Library will also have information tables set up as well.
The stage for the Back-to School Fashion Show will be set up in Center Court with businesses around the circle as well as the area in front of Starbucks. The mall will also have activity stations and a Disney Junior Fancy Nancy Table set up for children to have some fun. Chubby Penguin will be on hand with face painting and balloon animals as well. Starbucks and Gertrude Hawk will have tables to sample coffee and chocolates. Macy's cosmetics and JCPenney Salon will have tables for quick makeover and tips. The first 100 families will receive a swag bag full of great items, discounts and keepsakes from many of the businesses participating.
Toms River Macaroni Kid and Central Jersey Shore Macaroni Kid are excited to partner with Ocean County YMCA and both the Ocean and Monmouth County Council for Young Children in efforts to collect back-to-school supplies for those in need. We will have drop off points at local businesses leading up to our Back to School Bash. We will also be collecting supplies on the day of the event. Bring in a new and unopened school supply to donate for a chance at our prize wheel. Kids will get a spin for each item they bring in. Various mall businesses have supplied discount coupons and gift cards to our selection of prizes.
Toms River Macaroni Kid is thrilled to have The Learning Experience, Kum Sung Karate, Lucky Leo's Amusements and Westminster Nursery School as title sponsors of this great event. This event couldn't be half as much fun without their help! The first day of school is less than two weeks away so time is running out to get that back to school shopping done. There's no better time to head to the mall than this Saturday for extra discounts and coupons to help you get more for your money and with over 30 businesses participating it is sure to be a fun morning out for the family!
