Toms River Macaroni Kid has a family 4-pack of tickets to The Rainbow Fish to giveaway. The show will be on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM at The Jay & Linda Grunin Center for the Arts.
The Rainbow Fish will enchant even the youngest child with his silver scales and heart of gold in this new adaptation of Marcus Pfizer’s award-winning books about the beautiful fish who learned to share his most prized possession. Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia brings The Rainbow Fish to life with their enchanting puppetry.
The first of three tales introduces the most beautiful fish in the sea, whose scales shimmer in all the colours of the rainbow. He is admired – and resented – by the entire underwater world, until a clever octopus advises him to give each fish one of his scales. Further adventures follow as The Rainbow Fish finds the courage to explore the great unknown deep sea, discovering a new world with wonderful sights and friendly creatures of all shapes, sizes and colours who are eager to make his acquaintance. The underworld wonderland is the setting for an introduction to the concept of opposites. As a fitting finale, the story ends with the most satisfying opposite of all—give and take—as Rainbow Fish shares one of his shining scales with a friend.

Winner Selection:
1. Finished coloring sheets will be posted to an album on our Facebook Page with a link to vote, and the one photo with the most votes during the time period of Tuesday, September 18, 2018 @ 6:00AM THRU Tuesday, October 2, 2018 @ 9:00PM will win. Winner will be announced on Facebook Live Thursday October 4th at noon.
2. One voter email will be chosen using Random.org to $25 prize as well Prize will be announced in next week's newsletter. Voter must be subscribed to Tom River Macaroni Kid to be eligible to win. Winner must also live within 15 miles of Toms River. Prize will not be shipped.
