Summer is coming to a close and the events are slowing down. But that doesn't mean you have to sit around twiddling your thumbs all weekend! This is what Macaroni Kid would do!
Friday night I'd have a babysitter set up and spend some time with the Mr.! Think anything not kid friendly! Happy Hours, AC, look for local concerts, go to Great Adventure and ride the BIG rides (walk right on by the kids area!), Asbury Park...live like you're young again! Bring back those first date butterflies, shave above your knees...you get the idea!
Now if Friday night goes well, you'll be sleeping in Saturday morning. This is a good day to hit the beach in the late afternoon. If you have a beach buggy pass for IBSP...a bonfire with the kids, some fishing - nice relaxing day.
Sunday we'd do a little bit of traveling, but keep it cheap since we probably blew big $$ Friday night. Think the Cape May Zoo, Lighthouses, Popcorn Zoo, Smithville etc...
